When a coach maps the right play and the team wins, celebration is usually in order. Yet, when Max Mayfield and his crew at the National Hurricane Center in Miami nailed it with Isabel, forecasting with incredible accuracy days in advance where the hurricane would hit, they didn't cheer. They worried about people in the path of a storm. About expectations that every forecast will be as good.
